In short: Quitting smoking is one of the most important steps you can take for your lung health, at any age. Combining medication with support substantially improves the chances of success, even after previous attempts.
How we work
We work without judgment. We start by understanding your smoking habits and any previous attempts, and build a personal plan: suitable medication, sometimes combined with nicotine replacement, and close follow-up during the first weeks, which are usually the hardest.
E-cigarettes and heated tobacco
These usually contain nicotine too and are addictive. The principles of quitting them are similar to quitting cigarettes, although research on quitting vaping is still limited. We can support that process too.
Checking your lungs
As part of the support, spirometry can be performed, and we can check whether low-dose CT screening for lung cancer is appropriate for you.
Frequently asked questions
I've already tried several times. Is it worth trying again?
Yes. Most smokers who managed to quit did so after several attempts. Each attempt teaches you what helps and what doesn't.
